The Bicycle and Pedestrian Plaza is situatied on the banks of the Arkansas River and straddles the Arkansas River Trail, an 88-mile loop trail that connects four cities. It includes a custom fabricated metal wayfinding sculpture of all the parks and bridges in Pulaski Country near the Arkansas River.
Native plantings and a stormwater basin filter sediment runoff from the parking lot before flowing into the Arkansas River. The plaza features include: bicycle parking, a custom metal wayfinding sculpture, stormwater bioretention basin, native plantings, a curved boardwalk, a scenic photo station, and areas for gathering and resting.
