ARKANSAS GAME AND FISH COMMISSION EDUCATION CENTER

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Education Center in Springdale pays tribute to the historical significance of its location. Once a part of the Osage prairie, the center visitors will be transported and immersed into a restored bobwhite quail habitat. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the native flora and fauna of this region as it is directly integrated with the stormwater management and the overall design of the comprehensive master plan.

The center has an incredible number of interactive learning experiences for Northwest Arkansas residents and visitors. These include an archery course, quail pavilion, classes, the Pat and Willard Walker Family Exhibit Hall, and the Schmieding Foundation Creative Center.

The Education Center also connects to the Razorback Greenway, providing a natural and enjoyable experience for explorers and a greener way to get to the center. This connectivity follows suit of several other places in Northwest Arkansas that encourage residents to switch to multimodal transportation.
