The vision for the Crystal Flats landscape design is that it is a working landscape instead of a traditional commercial planting design. the surrounding meadows are populated with native plants for similar conditions and species commonly found in the historic Osage Prairie.
We utilized a wide range of plants native to the area, such as Purple Coneflowers, Prairie Dropseed, Sugar Maples, and American Elms. By using materials that could be found in the area, the landscape helps to restore the balance to the surrounding ecosystem.
Crystal Flats is also close to downtown, reinforcing pedestrian connectivity and aligning with Bentonville's commitment to smart growth by taking preemptice steps to help relieve traffic congestion that the anticipated population growth could bring to the city. A true example of holistic urban living!
