ARKANSAS STATE VETERANS CEMETERY - BIRDEYE

This picturesque setting along the Crowley’s Ridge National Scenic Byway consists of open pasture land with virgin oaks while two natural streams drain Crowley’s Ridge throughout the property, creating three distinct areas.

The site program takes advantage of the natural beauty and existing ecology while integrating a special place that is filled with symbolism; recognizing the value of individuals, reflecting our cultural beliefs and memorializing and honoring the lives and service of veterans, including the daily operations associated to provide such.

This state cemeteries grant program project is funded by The United States Department of Veterans Affairs with a phase one budget of 7.4 million.
