Tanner Weeks is a principal and co-founder of EDG. He is a native of Arkansas and a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture. His professional career path has allowed him to experience unique locations across the country, including Memphis, Tennessee, and parts of North Carolina. He and his family now reside in his hometown of North Little Rock.
As a landscape architect, Tanner appreciates the value of public space and expresses his design strengths in urban infill and adaptive reuse projects. Tanner is also a licensed contractor, an advantage that allows him to explore creative design ideas while understanding constructability and how design solutions impact our urban fabric, ecological systems, and natural environment.
Tanner follows the idea that an individual’s experience in a well-designed space evokes emotion that is memorable and should be celebrated. Unique experiences have the power to influence one’s trajectory in life. This belief reinforces the fact that good ideas, good people, and making good memories are critical to the world around us. Tanner’s compassion for others, paired with a sensible dose of humor, helps foster relationships and find the best in people.
"If you enjoy what you do every day, you will never work a day in your life."
This is the principle Tanner lives by, and the projects he has completed across the nation reflect this creativity and passion for extraordinary place. Tanner enjoys his profession immensely and appreciates any and all project opportunities.
