Shannon first started working with EDG as an intern in 2007. After earning a degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Arkansas, she is now a landscape designer and offers support with all aspects of production, as well as graphics and presentations that generate transparent communication with clients.
"I enjoy my work because I find value in the vital natural systems around us and feel that they offer us life-long learning and enrichment"
With EDG, Shannon gets to work on projects where the main goal is to sustain and showcase these systems when designing for human habitats. She grew up with an artistic father who owned a landscaping business and a passionate mother (a real life Lorax) who ran a parks and recreation department–so designing outdoor spaces is pretty much engrained in her DNA.
