Shannon first joined EDG as an intern in 2007. After earning her degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Arkansas, she is now a licensed Landscape Architect with a broad role across the firm’s work.
Her experience spans project management, master planning, and detailed design development, including planting plans and custom site detailing. She is involved throughout the full project lifecycle, helping translate complex site conditions and client goals into thoughtful, buildable solutions.
At EDG, Shannon contributes to projects that prioritize the stewardship and expression of natural systems within the built environment. Her approach is grounded in both technical rigor and a deep appreciation for landscape as a living system.
“I believe that the natural systems around us are vital and offer lifelong learning and enrichment.”
When not at her desk, she enjoys painting, aerial dance and outdoor adventures of any kind. On her homestead, she gets to put some of the more experimental ideas to practice, including bringing back near-extinct native species and regenerative gardening practices.
