Robert joined EDG in the fall of 2013 after graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Arkansas. Originally born in Auckland, New Zealand, Robert spent the first 6 years of his life overseas before relocating to Arkansas, where he became a proud native transplant. In 2016, he moved to Washington State, where he currently lives and works in Bremerton, just steps away from the stunning Olympic National Forest.
With over a decade of experience in civil engineering, Robert combines his technical expertise with a strong passion for aesthetic site design. At EDG, he focuses on engineering solutions that align with the company's mission to create resilient, ecologically-driven outdoor spaces. His work emphasizes low-impact development, stormwater management, and the thoughtful integration of water as a resource to support sustainable life. Robert is licensed as a professional engineer in both Arkansas and Washington State.
Outside of his professional life, Robert is an avid lover of the outdoors, frequently exploring the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Whether hiking in the woods or mountain biking on local trails, he draws inspiration from these experiences to create designs that minimize environmental impact, promote long-term sustainability, and adapt gracefully to the evolving landscape.
