Priyanka Raghuwanshi is a licensed architect in India and a landscape designer by profession with a creatively curious mind, always eager to learn, explore, and apply her skills to meaningful projects. She grew up in a small, coconut palm-covered coastal town in India, where the untamed beauty of the sea and the resilience of nature sparked her lifelong passion for design. Like a wildflower thriving against the odds, Priyanka embraces the unpredictable and ever-changing nature of the design world, finding inspiration in the raw, untamed beauty of landscapes.
Professionally, Priyanka’s background spans architecture and landscape design, reflecting a deep commitment to creating thoughtful, sustainable spaces that reconnect people with the natural world. She has worked on diverse design projects, including international design proposals and master planning, bringing her rich experience to each project. This broad exposure allows her to approach local landscapes with creativity, adaptability, and a deep appreciation for context and place.
Priyanka’s professional values align closely with EDG’s design philosophy, which emphasizes ecological balance, community resilience, and sustainable development. These values were recognized by OCASLA when her final year design & research-focused project, Catalyst for Landscape Change, which focused on green infrastructure, received an award for its innovative approach to landscape transformation. Though new to Arkansas, Priyanka quickly felt at home in The Natural State, a place known for its abundant forests, majestic mountains, and vibrant biodiversity. The untapped green potential around urban development in NWA inspires her to craft resilient landscapes that restore, protect, and celebrate nature.
“I believe that landscape architecture is the perfect tool to build infrastructure for resilient communities and sustainable environments.”
Beyond her professional work, Priyanka uses photography as a tool to view the world of design through her unique perspective. Like a wildflower finding its place in the wilderness, she travels and explores new places to gain fresh perspectives, capturing the often-overlooked details of life and revealing the subtle textures, patterns, and natural forms that inspire her work.
