Originally from Talala, Oklahoma, and a proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation, Katelynn moved to Northwest Arkansas in 2017 to attend the University of Arkansas, where she earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering. After graduating in 2021, Katelynn spent a year in Dallas working in the Urban Corridors department, focusing on city streetscape development. Although the experience provided valuable insight into urban infrastructure, the constant concrete environment led her to miss the unique blend of urban life and access to nature found in Northwest Arkansas.
In 2022, Katelynn returned to the region and now resides in West Fork with her husband. She earned her Professional Engineer (PE) license in 2025. Passionate about thoughtful urban development, she enjoys working on infill projects that transform underutilized properties into vibrant, purposeful spaces.
At EDG, Katelynn values the close collaboration between civil engineering and landscape architecture, which allows for the creation of innovative and inviting environments that serve both people and place.
