Alex grew up in Central Texas but fell in love with Northwest Arkansas while studying Landscape Architecture at the U of A. He then spent a decade living and working in Austin, Texas before moving back to NWA to join the EDG team in 2022.
Alex was drawn to EDG’s ethos of using water and ecology as the primary drivers for site design. He believes that the built environment has a huge impact on our quality of life. He also believes that the most important landscapes are the ones that we interact with every day, no matter how small or informal. Outside of the office, you can find him hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, and otherwise enjoying the beauty of the Natural State.
