Marret Lineberry Passes Professional Engineer (PE) Exam

We’re proud to announce that Marret Lineberry is now a licensed Professional Engineer!

Marret recently earned his Professional Engineer (PE) license, marking an exciting milestone in his engineering career.

Born and raised in Little Rock, Marret developed an early passion for conservation, even cofounding the “Tiger Trailblazers” club in high school to support trail conservation. He went on to attend the University of Arkansas, where his studies were shaped by a strong interest in sustainability and ecological systems. His education also took him abroad for language immersion in China and a sustainability program in Belgium.

After college, Marret spent more than a year traveling through more than 20 countries, volunteering on farms, at hostels, and on conservation projects. After returning to Arkansas, he researched sustainable rice production before working as an environmental engineer for the Arkansas Department of Health.

Marret joined EDG in 2024, drawn to the firm’s focus on sustainable, low-impact design. Since then, he has contributed to projects across Arkansas, including Riverside Park & Event Center, Brookland School, Marion Colonial Park, Searcy Agricultural Center, Birdeye Veterans Cemetery, and EACC Campus Connectivity.

Outside of work, Marret is an avid rock climber whose time exploring the Ozark Highlands continues to reinforce his passion for environmental preservation and thoughtful design.

Earning his PE license is an exciting next step in that work, and we’re proud to celebrate this achievement with him.
