15 Years of Pioneering Resilient Design

Over the last 15 years, EDG has prioritized addressing the ecological challenges faced in Arkansas due to rapid urban development and industrial agriculture. We’ve had the privilege of being a part of several iconic projects and partnering with some of the most talented designers, architects, contractors, and planners across the country. In celebration of this milestone, we’ve compiled our very first newsletter! This is something that will continue to provide those interested a glimpse into the work we are doing year to year, but in this first very special issue, we took a bit of a different approach. 

The issue includes what motivates EDG’s designs; our inspiration from ecoregions and watersheds, the desire to keep the Natural State clean and beautiful, and a timeline showing the projects that got us where we are today. 

We’d like to thank our team, which includes landscape architects, civil engineers, urban design experts, construction specialists, and horticulture specialists. It’s this interdisciplinary collaboration that allows EDG to create resilient spaces, reflecting the unique characteristics of each location and fostering a sense of place that withstands the test of time.

We’d also like to thank our clients and partners from the past 15 years. It has been a pleasure doing business with you, and we cannot wait for many more years to come of creating and innovating in Arkansas!
