Jenny is a Landscape Architect with an expertise in site planning, design development, project management, client management, and plan production.
Jenny is a University of Arkansas graduate with a degree in Landscape Architecture. While in college, Jenny was an intern at Janet Huckabee Nature Center–Arkansas Game and Fish Commission in Barling, Arkansas, where she focused on plant field identification, educational programs for the public, and recording a diary of sketches and locations of specimen plantings for the state.
Jenny’s professional career began at an architecture firm assisting in design + programming of large municipal buildings, including schools, hospital renovations, multi-family housing layout and planning, and park design. Her experience continued as she worked for firms focused on commercial development.
Jenny is an Arkansas native with a passion for the Ozark Woodland forest and the NWA community. Being an avid outdoorswoman, Jenny’s design principles are fueled by our natural landscape. Proactive stormwater management married with simple design can be used in urban infill projects, planned communities, and park projects alike. She loves knowing that responsible stormwater management in her projects will keep the rivers and streams she paddles on weekends clean and lively with native flora and fauna. Jenny has worked on national commercial programs, managing a team of designers, but prefers the intimate scale of projects and collaboration at EDG. At EDG, she focuses on efficient plan production, team management, and client management.
